OVERVIEW
These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed with Mestizo Market, the trading name of Alvamex Ltd, registered in England and Wales. By placing an order with us, you are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions. If you are unhappy with any part of them, please contact us before placing your order. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This does not affect your statutory rights.
SECTION 1 - CONTRACT
A contract exists between the Customer and Alvamex Ltd (Mestizo Market) only once payment has been received and the order has been processed.
SECTION 2 - PRICES AND PAYMENTS

All prices are shown in British Pounds Sterling (£).

Prices include VAT at the current rate, where applicable.

Prices and availability may change without prior notice.

Payment must be made in full at the time of order.

We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as other payment methods displayed at checkout.

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on weight, delivery address, and delivery method.
SECTION 3 - SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Orders are dispatched promptly; we aim to ship the same day where possible.

Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
SECTION 4 - CANCELLATION

Orders may be cancelled any time before dispatch.

To cancel, please contact us immediately by email and telephone.

Certain fresh or perishable products may be prepared to order; in such cases, cancellation is only possible before preparation begins.
SECTION 5 - COOLING-OFF PERIOD (DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS)

Under UK law, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods.

Goods must be returned unopened and in resaleable condition.

Exemptions: The cooling-off period does not apply to perishable items such as fresh produce, chilled goods, dairy, or other items with a short shelf life.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs. Refunds will be issued once returned goods are received.
SECTION 6 - DAMAGED, INCORRECT OR FAULTY GOODS

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If goods are damaged, incorrect, or faulty, notify us within 72 hours of receipt.

For faulty goods, please provide details including the batch number, best before date, and (if possible) a photo to help us investigate.

We will offer a replacement or refund, as appropriate.

You agree that your Feedback will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your Feedback will not contain libelous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene Feedback, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Services or any related website. You may not use a false email address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any Feedback. You are solely responsible for any Feedback you make and its accuracy. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any Feedback posted by you or any third-party.
