The Cascabel chile also known as the “rattle chilli” or “little bell” chilli gets its name from the way the seeds rattle around the dried cascabel chilli pod. Roughly 2 – 3cm in size in a deep red-brown, the Cascabel Chilli has a flavoursome woody nutty taste with a mild to moderate heat.
