Conchita’s unique chipotle and salsa verde recipe blended with tomatillos and serrano chili is a sweet, slightly spicy salsa with fresh cilantro and citrus notes with tons of flavour that’s the perfect topping for all your favourite dishes. This versatile salsa is great with quesadillas (corn or wheat tortillas with melted cheese in between), tacos and as a side to eggs and bacon in the morning or on grilled or roasted chicken, steak fish, roasted vegetables and beans. Use not only as a dip with tortilla chips but add to rice and transform the flavour of you plate.

Description
The recipe is passed down from Conchita, who was born in the 1920’s in the state of Hidalgo, in Mexico. She grew up in a hacienda with her family who were descendants of a mining magnate and philanthropist that arrived from Spain in the 1700’s. Conchita became the matriarch of her family and left behind a legacy we wish to share with the world.
